1. Engraved title page. 135x83mm. Includes two round seals copied from the 160 emblems in the 'Hermetico-Spagyrisches Lustg�rtlein', 1625. One is the first emblem associated with Hermes Trismegistus which was first used in Maier's 'Symbola aure� mens�...' 1617, depicting a hand holding a terrestrial globe, the other is number 141 showing a lion-headed snake seizing its eagle-headed tail and coiling around the Sun and Moon, first used in Basil Valentine's 'Azoth' series, 1613.
