40. That is called saving faith which comes from the belief that the Father loves for the sake of the Son. But no one is saved by this. The Father never hears you but the Lord, and by this no one is saved because they pass the Lord by and pray to the Father. This is quite contrary to the Lord's commandment. Besides, no one has seen the Father nor heard His voice.
