I perched in the many trees of Lives and sang Thy songs.

I, the nightingale of heaven, perched in the trees of many lives, and sang Thy songs.

My songs reverberated through the green-clogged veins of soul-leaves fluttering with Thy life. I am the nightingale, which sang Thy songs through the garden of centuries, rousing sleeping souls unto Thee.

I travel, giving concerts of Thy songs in the bowers of hearts, and I will come again and again to lure all the stray song-birds, to teach them Thy songs, and to fly with them to Thy skies of cosmic freedom.
