It is octagonal, with figures carved on each See also:side, representing the eight See also:principal winds. A brazen See also:Triton on the See also:summit, with a See also:rod in his See also:hand, turned See also:round by the See also:wind, pointed to the See also:quarter from which it blew. From this See also:model is derived the See also:custom of placing weathercocks on steeples.
