Aryan See also:language spoken in the See also:Assam valley. In 1901 the number of its speakers was 1,350,846. It is closely related to See also:Bengali and See also:Oriya, forming with them and with See also:Bihari the Eastern See also:Group of the Indo-Aryan vernaculars.
