FRIGG , the wife of the See also:

god See also:Odin (See also:Woden) in See also:northern See also:mythology. She"was known also to other See also:Teutonic peoples both on the See also:continent (0. H. Ger. Friia, Langobardic Frea) and in See also:England, where her name still survives in See also:Friday (O.E. Frigedeeg). She is often wrongly identified with See also:Freyia.
