Bantu word, formed from the inflexional prefix in and daba, business, See also:news, for an important See also:conference held by the " indunas"or See also:principal men of the Kaffir (Zulu-Xosa) tribes of See also:South See also:Africa. Such " indabas " may include only the " indunas " of a particular tribe, or may be held with the representatives of other tribes or peoples.
