MARIINSK , a See also:

town of See also:Russia, in See also:West See also:Siberia and the See also:government of See also:Tomsk, on the See also:bank of the Kiya See also:river and on the Siberian railway, 147 M. E.S.E. of Tomsk. Pop. (1897), 8300. It is built of See also:timber, but has a. stately See also:cathedral. There are tanneries and soapworks; and Mariinsk is an entreptit for the goldmines.
