I have studied the holocaust for many years. From grade school all the way up until the time i graduated from high school. I am now in college and have a big term paper to write and it has to be on something that hasnt been widly covered. You hear about all the camps and all the jews who excaped their death but i have to write on non-jewish children during this time. It is difficult to write about this because i dont really feel for the children that helped hitler.

I came across this website durring the process of searching for information and i stayed just to look at it. it is very informative site. Thank you for the reminder. God bless.

The holocaust was terrible and this website gives a fabulous account of the events that occurred during the holocaust.

The concentration camp of Auschwitz is the one I find most intriguing, and would like to see some more information on what happenned there.

Great website, very informative.

im so sorry for everybody who lost somebody they loved. im a sixteen year old girl from england and i feel horrified that some people have so much hate buried in them to be able to do things like this. i believe that everybody is equal and that we should all help each other as god meant us to

I'am just starting to study about the Holocaust in my class, but i already know a-lot about what happened. I had a 5th grade teacher who was Jewish she would get man when started to talk about it I never understood why, but know I see. I wish I could have done something about it, and I never hope that it happenes again.

I studied the holocaust for about 3 years in H.S. and to this day I can't believe such terrible things happened and those who did these crimes still don't fess up to it. You cannot take away or change the past, but everyone should of learned numerous things from the tragic holocaust. They didn't. It's unspeakable how these innocent people were killed and tortured. I can't see how another human would have the ability to cause such harm to another individual. Yet after all this, there is still hate crimes, beatings, murders, rapings, and death to the innocent. In my opinion there are too many insane, uneducated, ignorant people roaming the streets. I live in Chicago and I can't even begin to tell you how much crap I've seen . When is the unecessary gonna stop? When it's too late? Again.

Peace*********

"It is the folly of men that they forget". We must never forget - yet, it happened again just a few years ago in Yugoslavia by the Serbian people. Where is justice for the victims? Where was God in their hour of need?

I did a project on the Holocaust at school today and we were all "given" a child victim.

If you have taken the time to read this please take a moment to pray for my little girl Beila Altman who was only two when gassed at Treblinka in 1942.

God bless you little darling xx

I believe it is so important that future generations know the truth about mans inhumanity to man. Keep up the work and let us all pray to God that this diabolical episode in the worlds history is not repeated

I was most impressed by your History project, it has shown me pictures I never thought I'd see and paragraphs of information I never thought I'd read. It has helped me so much to understand the Holocaust especially the deaths. I didn't think I'd find so much information and I am very pleased.

I never got to see how horrid the Holocaust was before we researched it in school, but this site has provided me with so much info and pictures I didn't need to look any where else.

I shall reccommend this site to my friends If they ever need any help on the Holocaust.Thank you ever so much as I am very grateful of your help.

thank you again

I'm jewish, and of russian decent, and i believe you really can't blame the whole german people, because of one german soldier my grandfather was saved and hidden in the forest, and later found by russian army, the real perpitrators were the ss and hitler henchmen, but the german did nothing to stop it in germany, and for that they are to blame...

Thank you people for creating this site. These pictures have given me a better idea of what happened not too long ago. It's sad to see all the pain generated from it, although it teaches us to be careful of our actions and thoughts. Thank you.

I have for years tried to get into the mind of Hitler, and how he could treat God's Chosen People the way he did, or allowed it to be done. I'm not Jewish, but I have a deep concern for their well being. Thank you for this web site.

Its hard to believe that these things really did happen, but I guess they did, really appauled that one human can do this to another,I will be seeing this camp with my own two eyes in March this year as I'm interested in history such as Hitlers. This is a great site, very interesting and graphic. Thank you very much for sharing holocaust history.

Hey. This is site is so awesome for people like me in high school learning about the Holocaust in English class. I didn't really understand what the Holocaust was about, but after reading up on it, it was so horrible. I mean, I knew a bunch about it, but I never really got in depth to it. We are doing this project in English class about the Holocaust and when I first started on it, I had no idea where to begin. I am researching rescuers of the Holocaust. I knew about a few, the basic one being Oskar Schindler. Some of these survivor stories are so sad. Well, I just wanted to say GREAT JOB on the site and I hope ya add more soon!

I think you guys have a great site here......although i haven't been able to find many pictures. (hint hint)

I think the holocaust was terrible. I can't see how one person could have so much power over so many people. Hitler described the "perfect person" as having blonde hair and blue eyes when he himself did not fit this description. Who made him god and ruler over the world. Today isn't all that much better. I don't understand how people in general could treat other people so bad, can't everyone just let go of their grudges and get over it already? If everyone keeps being so selfish and thinking they're better than other people then there's no doubt in my mind that there's gonna be another world war. I don't see the point. We're all gonna die sooner or later y not just let it happen when it's supposed to. If we don't, there isn't gonna be anything left of this world, but maybe it's for the best. Maybe the world needs to come to an end for people to wake up and realize you gotta live your life like there's no tomorrow and not care what everyone thinks, we were obviously all made different for a special reason, you know how boring the world would be if we were all Hitler's "perfect people"? All I can say is let go of your grudges, don't let the thoughts and actions of other people dictate your life it's not worth it, it's a waste of your life.

The holocaust was a terrible time for millions. I research quite a bit as i lost family during this period, both in the camps and fighting to free europe from the noose of nazism. I hope one day to travel the path my family took to their deaths. I only pray it wont happen again.

your pages have shown me some of the scenes my grandad would have witnessed at the liberation of belsen, he was so horrified he never had a full nights sleep from then untill he died, he could not believe how cruel fellow human beings could be, and understood that the "survivors" ordeal would never be over,

I have learned a lot about the holocaust throughout the years I have been in school. It is very interesting to me and touches my heart to hear and read and see all this stuff about the Jewish and the pain and suffering they endured. I think we all must learn from this hatred that happend not so long ago and hope not to repeat history again!

MY MOTHER IS A JEWISH HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR ENSLAVED IN THE VILNA GHETTO AND ONE OF THE FEW WHO SURVIVED A CONCENTRATION CAMP.

WHY ARE MANY JEWISH SURVIVORS KEPT IN POVERTY BY THESE NON PROFIT GROUPS WHO GIVE THEM VERY LITTLE FINANCVIAL AID EXCEPT FOR THIS FREE USELESS COUNSELING.

I WOULD LIKE COMMENTS ON THIS FROM PEOPLE BY E-MAIL

I am a 37yo 'christian' woman, and was trying to tell my 12yo daughter of the holocaust, her only comment, 'oh yeah, i was told i would have been fine as i have blonde hair and blue eyes'.... your site has opened her blue eyes, and i intend to keep educating her as time goes on.

I'm not old enough to remember first hand, but still, will never forget, and will pass THAT legacy on to my 3 children.
