 CONTENT AND STYLE GUIDE

CONTENT
The photo captions under the childrens' photographs, in presenting the briefest of biographies, in many cases refer to events and places – particular roundups and internment centers, for example. The events and places are explained in context in the history sections.

STYLE

Convoy lists (See Research and Documentation for full explanation of contents of lists.)
Names: See Research and Documentation for explanation of spelling of names.
Birth dates:

Birth dates are displayed in the European style, showing day, month, year. For example, the birth date of Israël Knaster, the first child listed (convoy 1), is December 31, 1924, displayed as "31.12.24." For unknown birth dates, children have been assigned a fictional birth date of January 1 of the year indicated; thus, "01.01.38" indicates only that the child was born in 1938.
