Léa FIXLER was deported on
convoy 59 of September 2, 1943, with her
seven children: Jacques, age 13; Fanny, 12; Max, 9;
Charles, 6; Elie, 5; Jean, 3; and Monique, 1 (there
is no photo of Monique). Their father, who escaped the arrest, was the rabbi in
Drancy. Elie turned 5 the day he was deported. |
