Two of the children in this photograph were deported: the one with the cap who is looking over the top of his grandmother's head, Armand GRUNDSZTEIN, born on June 3, 1937, in Paris (12th arr.), and the little girl in front of her grandmother, Hélène, Armand's sister, born on September 4, 1926, in Paris (12th arr.). Their mother, Bajla, on the right, was deported on convoy 14. In front of her is her third child, also interned in Drancy but liberated in December 1942 thanks to UGIF. Armand and Hélène were deported on convoy 27 of September 2, 1942. Their father, Aron, was deported on convoy no. 13. The family lived at 43 rue Belliard (18th arr.).
