Myriam and David HOLZ were 8 and 13 years old, respectively, when they were deported on July 31, 1944, on convoy 77. They were arrested in the UGIF children's homes where they had been taken after the arrest of their parents, who were interned in the Poitiers camp. The two children were deported with their four brothers, who had also been placed in children's homes: Joseph, age 11; Jacques, 10; Paul, 7; and Emmanuel, 4.
