Gisèle LEMBERGER, arrested during the
Vel d'Hiv roundup with her two children, was separated from them and deported
on convoy 16 of August 7, 1942. David, age 6, and Jean, 3,
followed her to Auschwitz on August 17, 1942, on
convoy 20. Their father, Chaskiel, had been
arrested on August 20, 1941, and deported on convoy 5 of June 28, 1942. The
family lived at 65 rue de Montreuil in Paris (11th arr.). |
