Lina (Lily) PALANT was born on December 25,
1925, in Paris. She was living in Lyons, 67 place Voltaire, when she was
arrested on August 17, 1943, with her mother, Fajga, and her brother Charles,
age 21. All three were deported on convoy
60 of October 7, 1943. Only Charles survived; he has been an activist
devoted to keeping alive the memory of the deportees. |
