The family lived at 10 rue des Jeûneurs (2nd arr.). The mother, Sima, and daughter Rachel, arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup, were deported on convoy 13 of July 31, 1942. Charles, interned, like them, in Pithiviers, escaped from the Pithiviers hospital on August 1, 1942.
