Sabine VOGELHUT was born on September 23,
1927, in Strasbourg, near Germany. She was arrested on March 30, 1944, in La
Bachellerie (Dordogne) in central France. She was deported on April 13, 1944,
on convoy 71 with her mother, Bella. Sabine
and her mother survived deportation. Sabine's two brothers, Charles, age 15, and Marcel, 16, were shot and killed on the
day she was arrested. |
