bank before the end of the war. Once he was free, thanks to Kastner's perjury, he withdrew them and started a grain business in Cologne in 1950. The business grew rapidly, and S.S.-Standartenführer Becher is now living in Bremen, one of the richest men in Germany.

Now, this is what is interesting: when S.S.-Obersturmbannführer Lischka returned to Cologne in 1950, he became the agent for Krücken, also a grain company.

Serge had been connected with Continental Grains, that giant of the grain trade, a year before our adventure in Cologne. Michel Fribourg, an American Jew of French birth, owned that multinational cartel, which controls 25 percent of the world's grain business.

In May 1971, we learned almost simultaneously that Kurt Lischka was in the grain business, and that Kurt Becher, the German cereals king in Bremen, had been one of the most efficient liquidators of Jews. Serge made some inquiries, and found that Continental Grains did a lot of business with Becher's and Lischka's companies. A short while later he sent our data on those criminals to Fribourg's cousin and associate, Maurice Ulmann, and asked him to request the owner of Continental Grains to stop doing business with those German companies. Ulmann told him: "You know how this firm feels. I'm just about the only one who thinks as you do. There's no hope."

Each of the reports consisted of a detailed dossier and was prefaced by a statement purportedly signed by Michel Fribourg:
I was shocked to learn recently that some of the companies with which Continental Grains deals are managed by Nazi criminals who supervised the extermination of the Jews in several European countries. I ordered an investigation. Now I can make available to all companies in this business, and to the international press, data on Kurt Lischka and Kurt Becher, whose impunity is an affront to justice that every
