DIAMOND MONOPOLY PLANS CORPORATE TAKE-OVER OF WEST AFRICAN STATES
This Christmas when visions of sugar plums dance in the heads of American and European shoppers, millions of Africans will suffer the indignity of war and the number is ever growing. Every time you see a commercial on television promoting the sale of diamonds think about this.
The object of the diamond monopoly's current desire are the diamond fields of the West African countries of Guinea and Liberia and possibly even Ivory Coast. All three of these countries have what is widely known as alluvial diamond mining. That means that it requires very little effort to extract the diamonds from the ground. In some cases (and it happens very often) the average poor man, woman or child can come out into the road after a good rain and pick up diamonds from the ground. In a recent case two children harvesting the local yam pulled a priceless 40-karat gem out of the ground. The two children were promptly ripped off, and given the equivalent of $1,000.00.
While that seemed a fortune to the two children that found the diamond, it was a pittance compared to what the diamond monopoly made on the stone when it reached the international marketing center in Europe. So this is the problem the diamond monopoly faces. Running around Africa trying to stop the poor common man from reaping the benefits of the land. So what does the great and powerful diamond monopoly do? Scapegoat Africans to facilitate their CORPORATE TAKEOVERS. Yes, they orchestrate the corporate takeover of a nation. How do they do it? It's simple. So simple they wonder why they didn't think of it sooner. Picture this.... Every country has dissidents, especially in Africa. Even the BBC's veteran reporter Elizabeth Blunt has reported on several occasions that Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone are training each other's dissidents.
But the story is not quite truthful (the devil loves to mix a lie with truth). For years the local people have told stories of "White Men" in the bush training local hunters. The truth is that these white men are the mercenaries of the multi-nationals training dissidents rebelling against their governments or the government in a neighboring country. The multi-nationals train these dissidents to start an incursion in their own country and the price for this training and supplies of arms is of course, diamonds. At the same time these multi-nationals offer their services to train the military and proved arms to the legitimate government to expel the dissidents from the area of concern and even provide services to the United Nations.
Many of these mercenaries are former UN Peacekeepers, members of the former South African Defense Force, the Gurkhas and even members of Her Majesty the Queen's Scots Guard. Usually they are deployed in areas where diamonds or other minerals are being mined. This costs these governments a contract for they're mining concession that is without a doubt at the disadvantage of the nation. Additionally, it cost millions of dollars per month to engage the security forces of the multinationals to protect these areas from the dissidents that agents of the multi-nationals have trained, armed and deployed. Over time the bill for this kind of double-teaming becomes very high, higher that the economy of the small country can support.
So then the multi-national goes into the collecting phase and forecloses on the country. They march into international court with all their contracts and attach the international assets of the nation and seize all foreign bank accounts. In the end chaos and anarchy are sure to reign. No, fledgling democracy can withstand the kind of pressure from the all-powerful monopoly and their neo-colonial government cohorts. They can exert pressure on greedy and ignorant politicians to conform to their will, but they cannot contain the populace at large, which inevitably leads to insurrection. As we speak their trained saboteurs and spies and mercenaries are in the bushes of Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Ivory Coast attracting dissidents to wage war on the people of West Africa.
Although many horrific claims have been made against Africans as the sole perpetrators of discourse in West Africa as a former journalist assigned to the West Africa Bureau, I look at all of these claims with trepidation. Knowing as I do the level to which these multi-national corporations will stoop to command complete control of Africa's natural resources it is very difficult for me to believe that there is any truth in their accusations.
Will someone please tell me why the expansionist plot to destroy the right to self-determination in Africa is being blamed entirely on Africans while the diamond monopoly keeps their lily white gloves free of blood. The diamond monopoly wants to keep African people from enjoying the wealth of the land by keeping them poor laborers slaving away in the filthy water and mud of the diamond pits. There are no African cutting factories, no African security companies, and no African exports of diamonds.
LET'S HELP TO FREE THE LAND. THIS CHRISTMAS LET THE DIAMOND MONOPOLY KNOW THAT YOU CARE MORE ABOUT THE LIVES OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN AFRICA, THAN WE DO ABOUT SHINY THINGS. BOYCOTT DIAMONDS!!!!!
