Baby Goat Learns a Lesson Grandpa goat always goes out each day to look for firewood. When he leaves the house, his grandkid is left alone. Grandpa thinks to himself, "My grandkid is in danger when I leave him alone at home." He tries to think of a way to protect him. One day, he gives a bell to his grandkid. "Hang this bell on your neck." Grandpa goat says to his grandson. "What's this for?" asked the kid. "If you are in trouble, ring the bell," said Grandpa. The kid was very happy to have the bell. He couldn't wait to ring it. Grandpa goat left the house to look for firewood. In a short time, the kid began to ring the bell, "Ring, ring, ring." Grandpa goat heard the noise of the bell and ran home. He thought something had happened to his grandkid. "Why did you ring the bell," asked grandpa. The kid answered, "A fly landed on my head." "Don't bother your grandpa with little things like that," answered grandpa goat. Grandpa goat left the house again. Just as he left, his grandson rang the bell. Grandpa Goat was startled and turned his head toward his grandson. "Help, help, help!" said the kid. A stalk has fallen on me." "What's this? You're bothering grandpa," said Grandpa Goat angrily. Grandpa Goat right away left the house feeling angry. Suddenly he heard the sound of bell ringing loudly. "He's fooling around with me again," said Grandpa Goat. And he didn't pay any attention to the noise of the bell continuing to look for firewood. The baby goat ran while screaming for help. He was being chased by a hungry wolf. Suddenly, Grandpa goat saw his grandkid being chased by the wolf. He ran quickly to help his grandkid. "Don't, don't catch my grandkid." he yelled as he ran toward him. The kid was saved from being eaten by the wolf. He wept loudly because he was so scared. "From now on, you need to discriminate between what is dangerous and what isn't," said Grandpa goat. The kid bowed his head. He learned a good lesson.
