Ann Burton, Ann of the Airlanes, was an airline hostess for the Interstate Airlines who worked for the Secret Service, along with her boyfriend pilot Jack Baker. Premiering in 1932, this is the earliest known radio show with a female lead. These are the only known surviving episodes.
