Robert Ripley (December 25, 1890 – May 27, 1949). In 1919 Ripley started writing a 'Believe it or Not' column for the New York Globe newspaper, and spent the rest of his life finding and sharing the strangest facts and stories from around the world. Most of these clips are 60 second radio versions, with a few half hour episodes at the end.
