This image is taken from the backcover of Ancient American Magazine Volume #4. The artist, Charles Pratt, painted this picture from close dictation by Russell Burrows. We believe this to be an accurate representation of the Main Crypt, with the exception of the Indians dancing around the coffin. Note the Gold sword and shield leaning against the outer sarcophagus; you must remember, this was created many years before our involvement. Charles Pratt was the first totally professional Historical-Artist / Museum Designer to pickup on the beauty and complexity of the Lost Tomb Artifacts. He sketched many covers and back-liners for scholarly journals like MES and ESOP, let alone the fact of where this one popped up. He has an entire series of paintings and sketches that depict the life and times of people who lived in Ancient North America.
