Dr. Xi’s (pronounced  “ C ” ) formulas were originally designed to heal diabetic ulcers.  The formulas have been proven with over 200,000 cases of clinical results, and with >95% effective rate.  Their collateral benefit of Chelation-like functions to the cardiovascular system has been overwhelmingly welcomed. 

As you already know a good wound care regimen should include: 

Initial debridement  (remove all calluses and necrotic tissue by sharp instrument; herbal or chemical remedies); Pressure relief (de-compression dressing to the sites of lesion, i.e. special shoes, or accommodative padding.); Dressings changed with a frequency that sufficiently maintains a suitable wound-healing environment; Systemic or surgical treatment of wound-related causes, i.e. antibiotic; skin graft, by-pass etc..

Additional debridement when needed. 

Dr. Xi's remedies are composed of three separate herbal blends, which are to be taken orally.  They work systemically, and simultaneously on multiple lesions. i.e. cleaning the systems while improving the granulation of the open wounds. 

Use Blend 1: When there is an open infected wound; cellulitis and superficial skin infections that frequently happen in venous stasis patients.  Blend #1 clears the accumulated "toxins".  It is only needed when there is an open wound. (When order, please let us know if the patient has weeping open wound, we will give you some drying agent to help the wound scab faster for easier management.) 

This blend should be taken for one to two weeks, depending on the severity of the infection. “Superficial infection may be subsided in few days, continue using it to remove the dampness inside the body.”  In some ulcers with deep sinus tract, Blend #1 powder can be used as in soaking and topical application directly onto the wound, it has yellowish color. Topical use may stain your clothing.  Other minor superficial infections to the skin, such as folliculitis, acne, chronic gum disease can also benefit from Blend #1.  (It has been adopted in some cosmetic formulas) 

During the period of using Blend 1, if there is any open lesion, more lymphatic exudates than usual is observed, due to the cleansing function, some bowel movements may occur due to detoxification.

***  It is not suggested that conventional  medicine be ignored.  Infection is usually tested with a wound site swab for microbiology culture and sensitivity.  At the same time, the patient is started with a broad-spectrum antibiotic.  If necessary, the patient should receive IV injections of antibiotic.  In some cases a x-ray is necessary to check out the Osteomyelitis, in some cases hospitalization may be required. 

Blend #2, can be used alone or in conjunction with Blend 1 (morning Blend 1, evening Blend 2). It stimulates angiogenesis of collateral arteries, and stimulates the growth of the granulate tissues. Use this blend during the entire period when open ulcers are present until the granulate tissue is flush to the level of the surrounding skin and the ulcers are closed. In large size lesions, double or triple the dosage can expedite the speed of healing.

Blend #2 is also useful to patients with no open wound but only with narrowing or occlusion of cardiovascular system, such as varicose vein, venous stasis, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, angina, post stroke (CVA) and other vascular disorders. It is No oral chelation agent, yet it may enhance CHELATION therapy.  It does not deplete other trace minerals in the system.  

Blend #3 functions to soften the vascular walls, and adjusting the viscosity of the blood.  This blend can be used alone or in conjunction with Blend #2 (Morning Blend #2, evening Blend #3). Long term use of Blend #3 is recommended for patients with high risk of recurrent ulceration; various vascular disorders; Parkingson’s disease; Alzheimer’s disease, hepatitis, Chronic fatigue conditions. The patients may, once in a while, switch back to Blend #2 for two weeks or so just to clear the vascular system, and then return to  Blend #3.  It is formed by combination of multiple compound formulas also functions to modulate the immune system, beautify the skin complexion due to healthier blood circulation, and anti-aging. 

Any "healthy" person can start with Blend 2 and go on Blend 3, just for the benefits of cleaner cardiovascular system, maintaining a healthier vascular system and to Live Longer and Be Beautiful.
