Assimilation, alkalinity, chlorophyll, vitamins and minerals, a whole
balanced food, protein and enzymes are just part of the Barleygreen biological
phenomenon. Here are seven reasons you should take Barleygreen.
1. The Assimilation Factor.
"You are what you assimilate." Since
Barleygreen is a live unprocessed uncooked food concentrate, its many
nutrients are readily assimilated (or accepted) by our bodies. Many people
have discovered that where large dosages of vitamins and minerals could not
help their bodies the unaltered natural vitamins, minerals, amino acids
(proteins) and enzymes found in Barleygreen gave their bodies the fuel they
needed. Our bodies benefit more from the usable vitamins and minerals found in
Barleygreen than from high dosages of off the shelf vitamins and minerals that
it cannot use.
2. The High Alkalinity of Barleygreen.
Our body cells cannot
adequately function if the pH range (which measures acidity and alkaline) is
not in a narrow range. Studies of our bodies pH balance have shown that when
our bodies pH is more acidic we are more acceptable to diseases. Allergists
find most people with severe allergies have acidic systems. Most processed
foods are acidic, and when we consume too many of them the acidity/alkaline
balance is upset. To obtain a balanced pH it would require a diet of 70-80
percent raw fruits and vegetables. The high alkalinity of Barleygreen is very
useful in balancing the acidity of our bodies.
3. The High Amount of Natural Chlorophyll.
Chlorophyll is a results of
plant photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is solar energy captured for human
consumption. Chlorophyll has a molecular structure almost identical to that of
the hemoglobin in blood. The primary difference being the nuclei - the nuclei
of hemoglobin is iron and the nuclei of chlorophyll magnesium. Chlorophyll
rids the body of dead cells, reduces or eliminates bad breath, and among many
others can cause old age spots to disappear.
4. The Wide Spectrum of Vitamins and Minerals.
Barleygreen contains at
least 16 vitamins, 11 major minerals and 12 trace minerals These include folic
acid, and pantothenic acid. Boron, Calcium, Chloride, Chromium, Cobalt,
Copper, Iodine, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Nickel, Phosphorus, Potassium,
Selenium, Sodium, Sulfur, Zinc, and Trace amounts of more than 50 other
minerals are found in Barleygreen. Vitamins beta carotene, Biotin, Choline,
Folic acid, Niacin, Pantothenic acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin Bi, Vitamin B2,
Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12**, Vitamin C**, Vitamin B, Vitamin F**, Vitamin K, and
Vitamin E have been found in Barleygreen. Indeed, green barley juice contains
11 times the calcium in cows' milk, nearly 5 times the iron in spinach, 7
times the vitamin C in oranges, and 80 mg of vitamin B12 per hundred grams.
5. A Whole Balanced Food.
The real power of Barleygreen is found in
the combination of its many nutrients. Barleygreen is a whole food
concentrate; that is, it is as close to its natural state as possible and thus
supplies the nutrients in a natural proportion. This is what attracted Dr.
Yoshihide Hagiwara, the creator of Barleygreen, to barley; a vision of
totality, not individual pieces: "Barleygreen should not be recognized by
discussing the amount of its vitamins and minerals. The era of focusing on a
single vitamin or mineral is gone...much more attention is being focused on
biological phenomenon."
Barley plants were created by the "Master Chemist". The same one who said
to "eat the green plants". Barleygreen has nutrients we haven't even
discovered yet. As an example scientists believe that there are over 1000 live
enzymes in Barleygreen, yet we've only been able to isolate 20 or 30 of them
in a laboratory. Enzymes are complexes of proteins, vitamins, and minerals
that do the work of the body. It is these enzymes that classify this product
as a "Live food"
6. The High Amount of Protein.
The protein in Barleygreen is made up
of amino acids. 18 different amino acids are found in Barleygreen out of the
21 found in our bodies. The three not in Barleygreen are manufactured by our
body itself. Barleygreen has twice the protein in hamburgers by weight without
the cholesterol and fat. Many professional athletes use Barleygreen for the
stamina and strength it gives them. Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic acid, Cystine,
Glutamic acid, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine,
Phenylalaninev, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Tyrosine, Valine
7. A Rich Storehouse of Live Enzymes.
Green barley leaves contain a
multitude of the body's spark plugs, enzymes. Enzymes supply the spark that
starts the essential chemical reactions our bodies need to live. Without this
spark, and these chemical reactions, we would be helpless: a bag of bones,
unable to walk, talk, blink, or breathe. Studies have found that a cell has an
asthmatic barrier and it is impossible for a vitamin to pass through unless it
is piggybacked on a live enzyme. We are all born with a storehouse of live
enzymes. We use up more of these enzymes than what we take in so the
storehouse eventually runs low. One enzyme in particular that has been studied
a lot is supper oxide dismutase (SOD for short). The aging process has been
directly linked to decreasing amounts of SOD in our system. Increased amounts
of SOD causes our body to repair itself quicker. Additionally SOD acts as an
anti inflammatory enzyme and cancer preventive enzyme. Barleygreen is rich in
SOD - one of the richest sources available today.
Another enzyme is P4D1, isolated in a laboratory in California in the
1980's in Barley juice. P4D1 was found to do two things in the human body. It
is the first known substance to actually stimulate repair of the DMA molecule.
It is possible that disease cells can be repaired with P4D1 so that when they
reproduce they will actually produce good cells. P4D1 has also been shown in
laboratory tests to eat the protein sheath off a cancer cell so that the white
blood cells can attack and destroy them.
Cytochrome oxidase is one of the
enzymes essential for cell metabolism. In the body there are two forms of
fat-brown fat, which contains cytochrome oxidase and is metabolically active,
and white fat, which doesn't and isn't. White fat just lies around being ugly.
Many have claimed that regular supplementation with green barley juice
stimulates weight loss, which is likely due to the enhancement of the
cytochrome oxidase enzyme system.
An Enzyme with a Curative Effect -
More on SOD
The second enzyme is superoxide dismutase (SOD), a powerful
antioxidant. Normal metabolic activity throws off dangerous superoxide free
radicals, which are oxygen molecules with an unpaired electron. Superoxide
free radicals damage the cell walls and are thought to be a primary culprit in
aging and many diseases, including cancer. Antioxidants like SOD protect the
body from toxic free radicals. In mice inoculated with cancer, barley juice
had a surprising curative effect thought to stem from the juice's large
quantity of SOD. Spray-dried green juices are the most plentiful sources of
SOD. But there is a whole storehouse of enzymes in Barleygreen that we don't
even understand how they work. We need to trust that the "Master Chemist" new
what he was talking about 6000 years ago when He said to eat the green plants.
Some of the enzymes found in Barleygreen are Aspartate aminotransferase
Catalase, Cytochrome oxidase, DNase, Fatty acid oxidase, Hexokinase, Malic
dehydrogenase, Nitrate reductase, Nitrogen oxyreductase, Peroxidase,
Peroxidase catalase, Phosphatase, Phospholipase, Polyphenoloxidase, RNase,
Superoxide dismutase, and Transhydrogenase.
