common beryl- barrel-shaped crystals
Roll out the beryls.  These two crystals of common beryl, not colorful enough to be
emeralds, each have 24 prism faces, making the crystals almost round in cross
section.  They do roll on a slightly inclined surface. 
Beryl is beryllium aluminum silicate.
