stilbite crystals with
mordenite-4
Stilbite
is a member of the zeolite family of silicate minerals. It is a hydrous
calcium-sodium
aluminum silicate. Its most outstanding characteristic is a
strange crystal habit that resembles
a sheath pinched in the middle. Stilbite
ranges from white to a pale pinkish orange color with
a pearly luster.
