Like all languages, ActionScript has a grammar and different parts of speech. Over the last few chapters, you've learned the equivalent of sentence structure, nouns, adjectives, and conjunctions. Now, let's move on to statements, which, like verbs, can do things. Statements will complete our ability to form sentence-like instructions.
