Synchronous Dynamic RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY (SDRAM)
SDRAM is a DRAM technology designed to synchronize itself to
the timing clock of the microprocessor (CPU). SDRAM is up
to 4 times faster than standard DRAM; but, it still works just
like DRAM.
The newer PCs, such as the Pentium w/MMX have up to 64MB SDRAM as
their memory.
