ROASTING-GENERAL
This both crisps them and brings up the flavor. Unless

specified, place them blanched or unblanched in a
300
degrees Fahrenheit oven and turn frequently to avoid
scorching.
To avoid loss of flavor and toughening, do not
overtoast,
as nuts tend to darken and become crisper as they
cool.
