When we are running good dasa , we are happy , reaping good fortune, lucky in everything that we undertake , auspicious events like marriage , birth of son , promotion,association with beautiful people,vacation , awards, construction of anew house,gains ,purchase of vehicles all these events take place. Here is the secret , these people have Nabhasa yogas in their horoscopes. These yogas operate irrespective of dasa . there are 1800 types of nabhasa yogas.
for example if all the planets are in seven signs then veena yoga is formed, a person born in veena yoga will be fond of songs ,dance instruments, happy,wealthy,and a leader among men.

Moola nakshatra -The story of chandrahasa
During Mahabharata era there lived a very just and benign ruler called Chandrahasa. He was a great devotee of Lord Krishna.Chandrahasa was born to a king in the star of MOOLA with moon sign Sagittarius. This star is considered very inauspicious.It is said to wipe out entire clan after the birth of the child , child himself faces premature death . People of this star either live a wretched life or kingly life of high gains and successful accomplishments..if successful , they later on establish a great unhindered race . (all extremes) Girls born in these star usually marry boys whose father has expired.It is inauspicious for Father in law.
These people usually have six fingers or toes.
Chandrahasa too had six toes. As he was born,the kingdom was attacked and king died in the battlefield , queen succumbed to the news .Minister took charge as the caretaker and wanted to usurp the kingdom. so he ordered henchman to kill the baby. These mercenaries took the boy to the jungle , feeling pity at the child cut off his sixth toe ,smeared their swords with the blood as proof and left the boy in the jungle. baby was crying as villagers carried him to the village and he grew up as a village boy.one day as boy was playing with pebbles , he found a strange pebble with which he could win almost all pebbles of his fellowbeings in the game. He carefully preserved this stone into his mouth day and night. This stone was Saligrama of Lord Vishnu.
With daily oblations to lord in the mouth he became purified.. His body lustre grew day by day. Nearby King Vikramasena was issueless .so he asked astrologers to examine the chart of the lusturous boy , whether he is fit to be king to be adopted. Astrologers declared him to be a blessed child . King adopted Chandrahasa , Chandrahasa prayed to Saligrama with devotion every day . One day neighboring King (earlier minister Durbuddhi) happened to visit the kingdom , stunned by the boy’s appearance and also witnessing his sixth toe(cutoff) sensed danger to his kingdom. So he hatched a plan to finish this boy. He pleaded the Vikramsena that he had forgotten an important document , would like to fetch it,if he could send his adopted son to get it for Him. (Minister-king) Durbuddhi wrote a letter asking his son to give “Visha” (poison) to the bearer of this letter.
Chandrahasa rode a horse and went to the Durbuddhi’s Kingdom. Near the palace ,he took rest in the nearby garden and fell asleep.Durbuddhi had a beautiful daughter “Vishala” by name. She also visits the garden , falls in love with a sleeping lustrous prince . She curiously reads the letter he held , sensing her fathers’ treachery , she adds “la” to the word “Visha” with her kajal (eye liner). now the text becomes
Give “Vishala” to the bearer of this letter.
son happy at his Fathers’ decision , announces marriage in the state. invitaion is sent to Vikramasena as well . \shocked everyone came to the capital. Durbuddhi still wanting to kill Chandrahasa , asks him to visit the family temple outside the capital as ritual. He sets up two henchmen to hack the first person who appears in the temple.
Chandrahasa gets ready towards the temple , Vishala’s brother insists that he will accompany and enters first the temple to be hacked by the henchmen. Durbuddhi becomes inconsolable and repents for the entire misdeeds, asks pardon to Chandrahasa . Chandrahasa prays goddess Durga to bring back the life of Son of Durbuddhi ,since it was his misfortune that got exchanged with durbuddhi , due to his extreme devotion to Saligrama. Devi obliged , Vishala married chandrahas. He ruled for 900 years, where in his kingdom ,everyone was a vaishnava and no sorrows were known.
One day Arjuna along with Krishna came to conquer Chandrahasa . hearing about Krishna , Chandrahasa ran outskirts to pay his respects to \\krishna . Arjuna angrily said “what Kshatriya are you ,I have come to win your part of the world , and you are insanely crying looking at Krishna .Take your arms and Fight.”
900 year old man says to 46 year old Arjuna ,”hey mighty pandav , with lord of the entire world by your side ,which world are you set-about to conquer . is there any world beyond Krishna ? so i pray to HIM , you may kill me if you wish. “
Krishna intervenes and blesses Chandrahasa , Arjuna is ashamed at his childishness , makes peace with Chandrahasa.
Thus Chandrahasa changed his destiny of shortlife and misfortune with great fortune and divine blessings by the worship of Saligrama Vishnu.

Rama along with his brothers and His Father Dasharath shared his moon sign cancer. On the day of coronation cancer sign was afflicted with sun mars and rahu , this affliction brings immense difficulties to all the five. Dasharath falls sick and eventually dies out of grief of parting with son. Rama had to undergo exile, Bharat rejected kingdom settled in nandigram as a hermit . Lakshmana followed Rama , Shatrughna served Bharath. What a great brothers never again in History such exemplary brothers will be seen with unmatching sacrifice in their course to Dharma.

When in vanavasa Rama’s wife was abducted by Ravana. Sugreeva gets his kingdom from Vali with the help of Rama . Sugreeva promises Rama to help find Sita. All of them wait for good days to come ( full three months till rainy season is over) Why should Lord Rama wait for three months without action when his wife was missing ? only to look for good time ! to allow Sugreeva to enjoy his kingdom.
Then when Jatayu , his elder brother Sampathi had already told Sita was taken away by Ravana ,still monkeys were sent in ten groups to ten different different directions . though everyone knew Ravana’s Lanka was in the south.
- though a man is expert in some field . He should always resort to ten secondary options while executing a Plan.you never know what can go wrong .lesson one. No overconfidence.
- Human has right only on prayatna .his prayatna should be tenfolds in ten ways.
- though Ravana lives in south Lanka , he might have kept Sita somewhere else , a thief hides his hiest at a place other than his home.
- but gives his ring only to Hanuman ,sent to Lanka.
incidently Lanka is not Srilanka .Srilanka is simhala dweep according to varaha purana. Lanka was on trikuta parvat beyond malayachal . moreover Hanuman had jumped 100 yojana in sea to reach Lanka . that is 8*28*100miles. srilanaka is very near.Vibheeshana is chiranjeevi and is still ruling Lanka ,as 5150 years ago when Rajsuya yagnya was performed by Yudhisthira , to conquer entire universe , even lanka had to be conquered , since Lord Rama had devised a boulder to prevent others/humans entering Lanka , Ghatotkacha son of Bheema goes aerially and asks Vibheeshana to accept superiority of Pandavas as an order from Krishna who is none other than Rama of tretayuga. This incident tells us there is Lanka other than Srilanka.
Rama killed Ravan in a muhurtha called Vijay , hence the name VijayaDasami.

Shri Rama was born in Punarvasu star , lakshmana and Shatrughna were twins born in Ashlesha , Bharat was born in Pushyami . Pushyami comes before Ashlesha hence Bharat was elder to Lakshmana by a day. Though All were born with same planetary combination as Ram ,only Ram ruled . This highlights the point that mere exaltation of planets alone do not ensure the kingship. Here navamsa comes into play , even if one planet is in enemy’s house or debilitation in navamsa , man has to serve somebody.one who does not have such planets in navamsa leads his life independently.
Ravana was born as his father copulated with kaikasi, in the evening. Cohabitation during prohibited hours give cruel offsprings. This brings into importance nisheka lagna( the time of coitus).
so what detrmines the characteritics of a person. time of coitus of parents or birth time. birth time can be , appearance of head of the child, cutting of umbilical chord, or crying of the child or placing the child down.

Ravana was born 36000 years before Rama ,At that time parshuram was also born but he did not kill ravana , God took another avatar of Rama to kill Ravana, even sita was born before Rama . but sita married Ram at the age of eight when Ram was 24 years. How is that possible?
As sita was born she was taken away to Bramha loka, when you pass a single day there here many years pass away on the earth.As ram was born and became adult sita was discovered by Janak as a baby while ploughing hence name Sita.King janak was 99000 years old as he was a true karmayogi.

Shri Ram was born with all planets deeply exalted except mercury and moon . He appeared in cancer ascendant with jupiter and moon placed there. Lord Ram was ideal son,ideal brother,ideal husband, ideal King , ideal friend, and ideal Father.He was MARYADAPURUSHOTTAM RAM.
Combination of jupiter and moon in lagna gives rise to ideal people.seventh lord exalted and seventh house exalted aspected by exalted jupiter. indication of dutiful wife . 10th house sun exalted with 10th lord exalted gave him a powerful Father (chakravarti) , aspect of mars and saturn always cuts short the happiness . on 10 here it cut short paternal happiness.
sixth lord jupiter indicates enemy from a bramhin caste. being exalted jupiter shows the enemy as influential .So Ravana was a Bramhin . He was also born with all the planets exalted but his ascendant was libra with saturn in it. Saturn in lagna always gives rise to a bhogi . one who indulges in pleasure pursuit, even if it means doom to the self. Ravana was a great astrologer. He knew every position of astrology that would give success. As he had conquered the navagrahas. he ordered them to allign as required to attain success. He had all the planets tied to the steps of his Throne ,so that he could always step on them while ascending the throne. This to indicate he cared less for human destiny.
Once while his wife was pregnant about to give birth to a child, he ordered all the planets to take position in 11th house , so that his son would be deathless immortal. God ordered sani to move from 11th to 12th house to ensure his son’s death Sani out of fear reluctant to move , stepped forward but Ravana sensing it flung his chandrahasa sword . This cut the Saturns’ leg which fell in the 12th. This leg was hence named MANDI . This mandi was eventually responsible for death of INDRAJIT.
When Ram was nearing Lanka , Sage Narada went to Ravana , teased navagrahas espescially Shani as why they are unable to teach Ravana a lesson, is his destiny beyond them . Shani replied Ravana had tied them with face below(back upside) , if only they could glance him then Ravana would start facing bad days. Narada suggested Ravan , “what use is stepping on the back of a person , one should step on the chest to stample somebody’s pride.”Ravan impressed with this , ordered all the navagrahas to be turned up , and then stepped on their chests . This enabled sani to glance at Ravana . Sani’s glance started his Sade Sathi. Thus downfall of Ravana was orchestrated.
Was Ravana not aware of this ………
Yes he was. Adhyatma Ramayana is an interpretation of Ramayana in a very philosophic way. Here Ravana knew very much that he would be slayed by RAMA . infact everyday he would go to the Top of the tower and lament “oh Rama when are you going to come and relieve me.”
when Rama and sita were in panchvati , he could have fought with RAMA and taken away SITA . but instead he resorts to deceit , he sends marich as a golden deer. IS it not fear of RAMA that caused this act. Had he fought there RAMA would have forgiven him and not killed him. To kill ,man needs extreme provocation , what better than targeting wife of RAMA. Ravana had a curse , touching any woman against her wishes would split his head into thousand pieces , hence he never touched Sita. How did he take her away without touching,
He plucked the entire earth/ground below Sita on to Pushpak Vimana. even in Ashoka vatika he always asked Sita to bring Rama as early as possible to facilitate his return to vaikuntha.
Sita is Lakshmi Devi , where there is Lakshmi there is always wealth , prosperity and success . But as Sita came to Lanka , it got burnt, brought destruction of Ravanas’ family . Was it really Sita in the Ravana ‘s palace? No, it was Sitaakruti, madeup by Agni and indra(with vedavati). Since it was not Sita , RAMA could not have accepted it as his wife. So agni pariksha was enacted to replace this Sitaakruti with original Sita.Rama never suspected SITA ,his wife. Agni and Indra for their service were rewarded to be born as LUV and KUSH . Shri Ram ruled for 13000 years.(Ramarajya)

Can astrologers claim he can give most accurate predictions?
The above shloka says Astrologers can only indicate the results of the planets , only Bramha can give exact quantum of the result.
This shows that when somebody has forecasted a good phase , it cannot turn out to be opposite. but how good? it is not the purview of the astrologer. Only bramha can say that because he is the provider. lets dwell more on it.
a capacity of astrologer is limited to the domain he is inspecting. what are domains, luck pours from heavens, it also pours from blessings of elders, it also is enhanced by good wishes of friends and acquaintance. now how much each influence is subject to the domain under analysis. friends good wishes can get nullified by curses of elders. heavens gift can overcome a curse.
similarly a heavens wrath can overtake a boon.if you are predicting only considering a previous gift , and overlook a present curse , predictionswould go offtrack.
example: Shiva had given boons to jarasandha kichaka, bakasura,hidimba etc boons of being never faced with death, immortality. all astrologers looking at these horoscopes say they are immortals.even Indra and others could not match these demons because of the boons and had to flee. suggesting immortality. Bheemasena killed all these ,that means he has overtaken these boons. Bheemasena was more powerful, for these demons a brush with more powerful nullified their boons. Bheemasena was devotee of Krishna , if Bheemasena could kill these demons mean he is superior to Shiva, because He is devotee of Krishna , Krishna is supreme than Vayu (Bheema) and Shiva.
only to prove this Krishna avoided killing jarasandha ,to the extent he settledin Dwaraka than Mathura. he wanted to show if my devotee can nullify the boons of Shiva ,so can I. only superiors can overtake juniors’ orders.Hence when sages predict , they predicted immortality to jarasandha, because they fell short of analysis beyond Shiva. However VedVyasa predicted death to these.
Never hurt elders,superiors and Devatas, these can foretell misfortune ,even death,even if you are in good phase of your life.

Astrologer (daivagnya) is one who can see your destiny. As in any profession, there exists mediocre ,good and expert astrologers.
Most common anguish is roadside astrologer, and a common discussion erupts , if he can dictate our fortunes, then why is he himself sitting by the roadside?
Astrology is not soothsaying.so soothsayers should be avoided. Yet there are some who on account of mystic experiences ,try to forecast.People start saying ,oh his intuition is perfect. whatever he says does happen. But all this is superstition. People who do not base their predictions on correct knowledge and analysis, should not be consulted.
Many astrologers vouch on their intution, varahamihira clearly warns people to stay away from such people.why?
some fore cast with the help of mystical powers , even these people should not be resorted to. why?no use consulting these and then blaming efficacy of astrology.
Mystical powers ,intution are not static and permanent attributes . They are susceptible to circumstances. They somtimes are accurate sometimes off the track , due to astrologers’ own problems and karma. example. Balarama was a great warrior , intelligent person ,who could drag whole hastinapur single handedly. being King of mathura, was known to have extrasensory powers ,so that none could fool him(even in his inebriated condition)Lord himself was his brother. yet when Arjuna disguises himself as a sadhu, enters his city , balarama himself entrusts Subhadra as a caretaker to this \sadhu . who eventually elopes with Subhadra.
here Balarama the most powerful has faced delusion , his intution that Sadhu was for real failed. for many days he took care of this sadhu(ARJUNA). so intution is not a reliable factor it fails randomly and severally.
shastra is always reliable. Then whom should we consult. According to Parashara rishi :
astrologer should be a pious man with clean habits ,a good looking with well proportioned limbs,smiling and rich in appearance,pleasing manners, excellent grasp on language,never falling short of words , expert in mathematics ,geology,astrophysics knowing clearly the 10 types of movements of planets ,well versed in the philososphy,mantra shastra,rituals ,puranic lore, he should have excellent grip of the existing socio-political geographical and economic conditions of the place and time he is delivering the predictions. Above all this he should be able to create the confidence in the people that ‘\yes here my problem would be solved\’ . Such a persons’ words never fail .

We are all born with fixed longevity and fixed prosperity . With every success of accurate predictions by Astrologer , the Pruchchaka(client) wonders whether there is any scope for improvement in life , there seems to be definiteness in everything that this astrologer predicts. what am i doing.
a student thinks well i have good time i am going to get the grades , what use is extra study. what use is extra efforts?
shastra clearly reject such thinking. a new born baby ‘s life is not predictable for atleast 24 years. because death may come to the child due to its own past sins within first four years, next 16 years child may die due to sins of mother and or father. hence child should be taken care of through medication , pious living, and homa and other autereties.
secondly longevity and wealth of the humans are fluctuating day by day with their deeds. a bad deed brings down life and wealth. a good deed increases. for eg. eating in a iron plate decreases life, cutting one’s hair on saturday decreases life span. irregular sexual habits decreases span of life. etc.
daily poojas , devotion to elders and dieties bring about good fortune and increase in wealth and longevity. Assume a man leads a 100 years life.
360 days for a year (savana year not solar) makes up 36000 days and 36000 nights.Human body has 72000 nadis. As everyday/night passes each nadi is swichted off .a mere look at man can tell about his age and fortunes by the study of his state of nadi , a knowledge held secret . With an evil karma , many nadis forcibly gets deactivated (devoid prana)as a result of divine will. and men loses his lustre. At the time of death soul resists yama pasa by hiding in each and available nadi. but finds no recluse.finally when prana is empty it has to leave along with yamaduta.
Men has to perform good deeds when there is strength and age on his side. increase his longevity. God brings humans into this world to understand HIM, eyes to look at his image, ears to listen about his Glory, mouth to eat his prasad, speak about his Glorious qualities feet to visit his temple. hand to do his archana. Man is subjected to tapatraya – Adhibhoutic ,adidaivik,adhyatmic tapa. when we suffer in a natural way ,ie struggling around the surroundings etc , it is ahibhoutik tapa. that which arises due to panch bhutas. earth water ether light air . like natural deterioration of body due to old age , sickness sorrow or happiness on account of near and dear etc .
Certain sufferings do not seem manmade. earthquake ,volcano ,floods , our sufferings on account of these are termed as Adidaivik tapa. Even when we miss certain rituals assigned or undertaken by us , we undergo some mishaps ,which are just beyond our perception; these are also adidaivik.
When everything is allright in our life, we suddenly crave for more , and then a series of events unfold , forcing us to think why at all did I desire such things, now I am caught in a whirlwind of fate! . example Shantanu desiring Satyavati ,The whole act of Mahabharata is an outcome of this one desire. This is adhyatmic tapa.These occur only to teach us lessons of life. The others are result of our past karma.
How does astrology help us unfold these. when we take our horoscope we usually see only one janma kundali. But there are 16 such kundalis(16 charts) that govern one person.These are shodasa varga.16 divisions.
these are grouped into four ways.
- shadvarga ( rasi hora,drekkana,navamsa,dwadasamsa,trimsamsa) 6 charts.
- add saptamamsa to above you get saptavarga 7 chart scheme .
- add dasamsa ,shodashamsa ,shastiamsa to above list you get dasavarga scheme 10 charts.
- add rest of the charts and you get shoshavarga scheme.
- so you can predict taking any of the schemes about one person. analysing only 1 st scheme gives your future as dependent on rasi (self) hora(wealth)drekkana(brothers) navamsa(wife) dwadasamsa(parents) trimsamsa( evils, miseries,enemies). these are the material level of sufferings a man can undergo along with these characters.
- ADD saptamamsa(children) you get complete physical strata of human life. Adibhoutik.
- 3rd includes dasamsa(achievements),shodasamsa(inner happiness) shastiamsa(inner conscience) apart from above.These are abstract strata of human life governed totally by Daivik forces(heavens) . we do not have any direct control over these issues. when these get afflicted we suffer unexplained miseries. Mostly these miseries are more felt in the mind than experienced.
- Sashtiamsa is especially important Rishi Parashar has assigned a weightage of 5 as against 3 for the self janma kundali. this is a very puzzling aspect. A shastiamsa chart changes every 2 minutes.an error of two minutes in birth time can give faulty shastiamsa chart. hence it is difficult to accurately give this prediction in absence of accurate birth data.
- A person born in sheetalamsa always suffers from cold irrespective of good days bad days.
- a person born in digambaramsa has unexplained fondness for roaming nude irrespective fo his status reflected in birth chart.
- shasti amsa chart is very powerful . it acts only for a small phase on a person. it acts like a man possesed of devil where he loses his self to character of devil though momentarily.
- shodashamsa also reflects minute happiness. sometimes we read a NGO takes all slum children on flight as social service. what a good fortune of air travel on just a single day. the boys might never have such a chance all their life owing to a ordinary birth chart. but only shodash amsachart shows this extraordinary experience for a short time.
- shodashvarga includes vimsamsa( divine knowledge) chaturvimsamsa(divine powers sadhana) khavedamsa(aspects governed by chitta your sublimal thinking about life , that is taking roots as future action) etc we cannot dwell at length on this, as it is exhaustive.
- the third category as seen above deals more at sublimal level .it is sookshma even more than the abstract layer. here seeds of future life are laid. these indicate adhyatmic tapa.
