Adding ThML Markup

Some of the ThML markup will have to be done by people who are familiar with the ThML markup language. However, there are some important ways anyone can help.

• Divisions of the text. At the start of a book, chapter, introduction, preface, or other major division of the book, add a <div1 title="Title of the Chapter or Division"> tag. An editor will go through later and adjust if needed. (These tags cause the document to be split into separate files and entries to be made in the Table of Contents.)
• Scripture references. If you find a scripture reference on a page, such as Rom. viii. 28, add tags so that it ends up looking like this: <scripRef>Rom. viii. 28</scripRef>. (These tags cause the reference to be added to the index of scripture references and linked to the Bible Gateway. They also enable library-wide scripture reference searching.)
• Footnotes. These should have been taken care of in the "Whole Page Corrected" step, but if not, use the <note> element as in this example:<note>The body of this footnote will appear at the bottom of the page.</note> Text continued here.

There will be other work for a ThML editor to do, but if the above steps are completed, check the "Added ThML Markup" checkbox and click the "Update page" button.
