ART BELL
AND DAVID ICKE

In response to many inquiries about why David Icke is not invited onto the Art Bell Show, here is some background. For people outside of North America, the Art Bell Show is a coast to coast nightly show which deals with "alternative" subjects - precisely the area that David Icke's books go into in detail.

The show claims more than 20 million listeners and is certainly extremely influential in the "alternative" fields of extraterrestrial activity and "mysteries" in general. Some people have called the show recently asking when David Icke will be back on the programme and there has always been a non-committal answer and a change of subject.

The background is this. David Icke was suddenly asked on the show at two days notice and he appeared on November 11th, the 11th of the 11th, 1998. The audience reaction to what David had to say was simply fantastic, even though he was given the last section of the show when it is the early hours of the morning on the East Coast of the United States.

Bell asked David back on air and in the days that followed e-mails were exchanged between Bell and Royal Adams, who looks after David's events and media schedule. It was agreed that he would go back on the show on March 1st when he came back into the United States to launch The Biggest Secret.

But when David arrived in the US a few days before this, Art Bell said he knew nothing about the invitation and would not be having him on the show. Bell also asked: "Who's David Icke? What's he talk about again?" He then told Royal Adams that he would not have David Icke on his programme because:

"The idea of an Illuminati is a bunch of crap
and Diana's death was an accident."

So even though David Icke has written the most controversial book of all time in The Biggest Secret and even though it covers all the subjects featured on the Art Bell Show every night, he has not been allowed back on to discuss these issues.

Art Bell tells his listeners: You know me..I will have anyone on..I let the people decide.

Oh really? So why is David Icke an exception to this??

David Icke has been featured endless times on the Jeff Rense Sightings Show in the US, which David describes as the best show of its kind in the world, but he is shut out from Art Bell.. As more and more people are asking: Why is this?

On the Art Bell Show last week, Stuart Wilde, the author of some 20 books, told the story of how he approached talk radio in the United Kingdom to propose that he present a late night show on UFOs. Stuart told Art Bell that the station was very keen to go ahead. Then he was invited to meet the managing director of the station to finalise the details. This is a summary of what Stuart told Bell, as near word for word as possible from memory. Stuart said that the managing director asked him:

"Would you interview people on the show."

"Yes I would interview people"

"Would you interview David Icke?"

"Yes..David's very controversial ~ got interesting things to say..some people agree with him, some people don't. I'd interview him, yes."

Stuart said the guy became very agitated and said:

"You would interview David Icke??"

"Yes."

Stuart told Bell that the idea of the show was immediately dropped and in effect "I was sacked", he said.

This is something that is happening all over the world as David Icke is shut out since the publication of The Biggest Secret.

Art Bell, in reply to Stuart, said: "I interviewed David Icke once and survived" (or a word indicating that).

BUT HE HAS NEVER HAD HIM ON AGAIN HAS HE?

SO WHAT GOES ON?
