Foreign Secretary Jack Straw today confirmed UK and US strikes
against
Afghanistan had caused "considerable damage" - and warned they
could continue
for weeks.

* More than nine hours of missile and bomb attacks on
Afghanistan, including
at least four cities, causing "massive damage".
* 22 civilians killed according to Taliban and other Afghan
sources, not that
human life means anything to the the Taliban either.
* Operation "Enduring Freedom" (sic) begins with the launch of
50 Tomahawk
cruise missiles from American and UK ships and air attacks that
are "just the
start".
Last night 50 Tomahawk missiles were fired at Afghanistan at a
cost of more
than 35 million pounds in missile production costs alone - and
that was just
ONE element of the attack and therefore the fantastic cost.
Goodness knows
what the total figure must have been for a single night of
terror and a
second night has already begun..
How come that desperate human need around the world wasn't met
before this "war
on terrorism" with claims that there was simply not the money to
help. Where
did all this money suddenly appear from then?
Cynical? Too right.

BBC News 24 (cable) just reminded me of something that I had
completely forgotten about. Were you aware that on the 11th
September, four passenger jets were highjacked and two were
flown into the World Trade center, while a third was crashed
onto the Pentagon, killing thousands of people?
With the announcement, "And just to remind us of what led up to
today's air strikes," a film was shown of the above events. You
actually saw the planes hit the towers! Man, am I grateful for
this reminder - I had completely forgotten about this event. It
must have slipped my mind. Thank you the BBC, the British
Brainwashing Corporation.

statements the media say that there is no independent evidence
to support
what they say and that we should treat it with caution.

Canadian sovereignty called into question
CANBERRA, Australia (CNN) -- The Australian government has ordered a detachment of Special Air Service troops to be readied for deployment to join the U.S.-led campaign against terrorism.
Prime Minister John Howard made the announcement Thursday after meeting with the Australian Chief of Defence Force (CDF) Adm. Chris Barrie.
Howard also said he had been shown, by the ambassador to Australia, intelligence material gathered by the United States.
The NATO Secretary General, George Robertson, the former
Bilderberger Defence
Secretary in Tony Blair's UK government, says he knows that the
U.S.
hijackers were part of the world-wide terrorist network of
Al-Qaida, headed
by Osama bin Laden and his key lieutenants and protected by the

buying the official version, hook, line, and sinker.

"United States Attorney General John Ashcroft has warned American citizens of the likelihood of "further terrorist activity" in response to prospective US military action against Afghanistan." - news report.

Because of the
threats, President Bush didn't immediately return Tuesday to
Washington
following the incidents in New York and Washington. Fleischer
said the plane
that crashed into the Pentagon was originally intended for the
