Simple Truth

There is a deep, dark, dungeon,
That peace may lie within.
The stairs are cold and endless,
Seekers masters of pretend.

Frenzied fear that emanates,
From the contest for the prize,
Blinds their minds to those who dominate,
And write the contracts for their lives.

The only true peace, in this young world,
Is too simple for most to see.
Infinite love is the solution,
Realize what this world can be.

Dear David,

Your words were the influence to this poem.
Thank you for telling the truth.
