David Icke interviewed by USA Today

USA Today Questions in Blue.

David Icke's Response in Maroon.

Hello Aaron...here's my replies, hope this is OK.

1) Do you think such sites (and labels such as "crank") impede your ability to circulate your information to your intended audience? Why or why not?

People at the cutting edge of human knowledge have always been called "cranks" - or worse. Those who said the earth was a sphere were labelled "mad", "bad", and "dangerous." The myopic people who run this "crank" website have no idea if the astonishing information I am presenting is true or not. They dismiss it, not because they have sought to establish its credibility by their own research, but simply because it is different to what they have been programmed and conditioned to believe. They confuse being mad with being different and being crazy with being informed.

In doing so, they concede the right to be taken seriously and they in no way impede my ability to communicate this information - they may even help. We have just passed half a million hits in our first eleven months of the David Icke website. A stunning achievement.

2) Have you found the Internet particularly helpful in sharing information that might be considered too controversial by traditional media?

Yes very much so. It allows me to create a focus for my information to support my books like And The Truth Shall Set You Free and The Biggest Secret, which I have to self-publish because of the staggering nature of the content. Add the videos to that and you have a package which allows me to communicate to very large numbers of people every day all over the world even though I am not connected to a major publisher nor have much access to the mainstream media - for obvious reasons.

But we should not forget that the Internet is a two-edged sword. The authorities would not release military technology for the Internet, nor encourage its widespread use, unless there was something very big in it for them. Part of this is the fact that they can monitor e-mails and the websites people visit, so gathering a great deal of personal data, which would otherwise be very much more difficult. We have to use the good side of the Internet while being aware of the bad.

3) Do you think that eventually your theories will be proven correct, moving you from the "crank" site designation to that of "science" site?

They already have been. Overwhelming evidence to show something is true is not the same as the political, "scientific", medical, and media establishments accepting that information is true.

For instance, the world was proved to be round long before the establishment or society in general accepted the fact. "Modern" science and medicine are still in the dark ages, primitive beyond belief, and much of it is the science and the medicine of the kindergarten. Their arrogance and conditioning prevents them from seeing the obvious.

If people knew what is really happening in the world and what is really possible - as they will if they visit the site - it would make their hair curl and transform their lives.

This quiet transformation is happening, and soon it will not be so quiet. It is destined. We are in such exciting times and no silly "crank" site is going to affect that in any way - except to bring more people to this information! So to them I say on one level "grow up guys" and on the other, thank-you for all the publicity. Much appreciated

David Icke.
