Crystal Forms:  Orthorhombic system
      usually massive, fine granular

Mineral Associations:  found with gypsum, limestone, dolomite, and salt

Identifying Characteristics:

Uses:  Plaster of Paris

Occurrences:  Texas, Germany, Mexico, Canada

Toxicity:      when-swallowed- low          when inhaled- moderate
