Apophyllite is
a member of the zeolite family of silicate minerals. It is a hydrous
calcium
potassium fluorosilicate. Apophyllite is usually colorless or white and it
can
form pointy 4-sided pyramid terminations on crystals or resemble cubes with
beveled corners and edges.
