aurichalcite-1
Bisbee, Arizona
Aurichalcite is a basic carbonate of
zinc and copper. It is often identified by its light
blue color and
delicate needle-like crystal habit (acicular). The large, clear crystals
in this photo are calcite and the yellowish brown material is limonite.
