Luster:  vitreous to pearly         

Cleavage:  one direction, perfect

 

Crystal Forms:  Orthorhombic system
        Often as radiating, fine acicular masses of crystals

Mineral Associations:  occurs with other zeolites in basalt

Identifying Characteristics: radiating acicular crystal clusters

Uses:

Occurrences:  New Jersey, USA; Nova Scotia, Canada
