    Stibnite crystals range from stout to slender prismatic.

Mineral Associations:  realgar, orpiment, galena, marcasite, pyrite, cinnabar, calcite

Identifying Characteristics:  Crystals are often bent or twisted

Uses:  antimony ore

Occurrences:  China, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina 

Toxicity:      when-swallowed- high        when inhaled- very high
