Sulfur is one of the few chemical
elements that occurs naturally in uncombined form.
It is easily identified
by its translucent lemon-yellow color, softness, low density, and
the ability to
burn. (You really do not want to set it on fire. Burning sulfur
creates a
choking gas and the fire is difficult to put out.
