ASCENDING SONS OF GOD

There are seven classes of the Ascending Sons of God. (443.1) 40:0.1

I. ASCENDING MORTALS—FATHER-FUSED

1. Mortal curiosity, adventure, and exploration will be gloriously gratified during the long ages to come. (159.6) 14:5.10

2. Mortals are the lowest group of beings called the Sons of God. (445.2) 40:5.1

3. Grandfanda was the first mortal to attain Paradise. (270.5) 24:6.8

4. When fused with an Adjuster, a mortal becomes in fact a son of God. (448.9) 40:7.2

5. At death, two factors survive: The Thought Adjuster and the morontia soul. (1230.2) 112:3.4

II. SON-FUSED MORTALS

When mortals fail of Adjuster fusion, through no fault of their own, they become Son fused. (449.6) 40:8.3

III. SPIRIT-FUSED MORTALS

1. Mortals incapable of Adjuster fusion are fused with the spirit of the Divine Minister. (450.5) 40:9.3

2. In general, Spirit-fused mortals are confined to the local universe. (452.1) 40:10.1

IV. EVOLUTIONARY SERAPHIM

All guardian angels attain Paradise and many become finaliters. (443.5) 40:1.1

V. MATERIAL SONS

Many Material Sons attain the Corps of the Finality. (444.2) 40:2.2

VI. TRANSLATED MIDWAYERS

Midwayers also ascend to Paradise and the Finality Corps. (444.3) 40:3.1

VII. PERSONALIZED ADJUSTERS

They are the highest order of ascending Sons. (445.1) 40:4.2

In the ascending scheme, MIDSONITERS are a mystery. (401.4) 36:4.8

VII. THE PATH OF ASCENSION

1. Ascenders first traverse the mansion worlds and Jerusem. (532.7) 47:3.1

2. They then go through the constellation training spheres. (493.7) 43:8.2

3. After traversing the local universe and superuniverse they go through Havona. (290.2) 26:4.12

4. Finally they attain Paradise. (294.6) 26:9.2
