He represented " figures out of the straight, and ways of representing faces looking back, up or down; he also made the See also:joints of the See also:body clear, emphasized See also:veins, worked out folds and doublings in garments" (See also:Pliny). All these improvements are such as may be traced in the drawing of early Greek red-figured vases (see GREEK See also:ART).
