CLIMBINGI See also:

FERN , the botanical genus Lygodium, with about twenty See also:species, chiefly in the warmer parts of the Old See also:World, of See also:interest from its climbing See also:habit. The See also:plants have a creeping See also:stem, on the upper See also:face of which is See also:borne a See also:row of leaves. Each See also:leaf has a slender stem-like See also:axis, which twines See also:round a support and bears leaflets at intervals; it goes on growing indefinitely. It is a favourite warm greenhouse plant.
