HINGANGHAT , a See also:

town of See also:British See also:India in See also:Wardha See also:district, Central Provinces, 21 m. S.W. of Wardha town. Pop (1901) 12,662. It is a See also:main seat of the See also:cotton See also:trade, the cotton here produced in the See also:rich Wardha valley having given its name to one of the best indigenous staples of India. The See also:principal native traders are Marwaris, many of whom have large trans-actions and export on their own See also:account; but the greater number See also:act as See also:middle-men. There are two cotton-See also:mills and several ginning and pressing factories.
