district in the See also:kingdom of See also:Saxony, extending for about 5 M. along the right See also:bank of the See also:Elbe, immediately N.W. of See also:Dresden. Pop. (1905) 6929. A See also:line of See also:vine-clad hills shelters it from the See also:north winds, and so warm and healthy is the See also:climate that it has gained for the district the appellation of the " Saxon See also:Nice." See also:Asparagus, peaches, apricots, strawberries:grapes and See also:roses are largely cultivated and find a ready See also:market in Dresden.
