language of the See also:Dravidian See also:family, found chiefly in the See also:South See also:Kanara See also:district of See also:Madras. It has no literature, nor has it been adopted for See also:official use even where it is spoken by the See also:majority of the See also:population. In 1901 the See also:total number of speakers of Tulu exceeded See also:half a million.
