BADNUR , a See also:

town of See also:British See also:India, the headquarters of the See also:district of See also:Betul in the Central Provinces. It consists, besides the See also:European houses, of two bazaars. Pop. (19or) 5766. There is a See also:good serai or See also:inn for native travellers, and a dak See also:bungalow or resting-See also:place for Europeans. Not far from Badnur is Kherla, the former See also:residence of the Gond rajas, where there is an old fort, now in ruins, which used to be held by them.
