BIAS, a See also:river of See also:India. The Beas, which was the Hyphasis of the Greeks, is one of the Five See also:Rivers of the See also:Punjab. It issues in the snowy mountains of See also:Kulu at an See also:altitude of 13,326 ft. above See also:sea-level, flows through the See also:Kangra valley and the plains of the Punjab, and finally joins the See also:Sutlej after a course of 290 M. It is crossed by a railway See also:bridge near See also:Jullundur.
